How Our Auction Solutions Work
- Upon approval of terms and conditions of operation, our clients hand over items for auction. These items are professionally valued, then assigned lot numbers.
- Smart Skills publicizes the auction, and communicates the dates in keeping with Ugandan law.
- Interested members of the general public purchase relevant bid bonds (for the lots of their interest) from office so that bidding accounts can be created for them.
- On the auction date and set time (visible on each auction item), open bidding begins, and the highest bidder by the close of the auction is required to pay the full amount at the Smart Skills office, before the close of the same business day.
- Once 100% payment is complete, the item is cleared-out and handed over to the winning bidder.
- Failure to complete the payment within the stipulated time will forfeit the item to the second-highest bidder.
- Items that are not cleared-out in an auction are added as regular sales items in our Sales & Auction area.
Terms & Conditions
